a fraîche take on holiday pie

A spoonful of crème fraîche is a simple way to elevate any dessert, especially to top pie. Here are a few of our favorite quick & easy crème fraîche add ins, to make a crème fraîche topping for your pie or cobbler this holiday season.
To one 8oz container of crème fraîche add:
- A pinch of nutmeg + a swirl of maple syrup (Recommended for fruit & apple pies)
- Shaved chocolate + a couple spoonful’s of sugar (Recommended on chocolate or pecan pies)
- A dash of cardamom + a drizzle of honey (Recommended on sweet potato or pumpkin pie)
Optional Tip: using a kitchen aid or handheld mixer, give your crème fraîche a quick whip till it holds soft peaks.
