We’re so happy to report that one of our pinnacle aged goat cheeses, Bijou, earned top honors in this year’s Specialty Food Association’s sofi Awards! Wait, hold your applause, because Bonne Bouche was honored as a finalist for the very same award!

Of the 3,200 entries, 28 were chosen and we are elated to have Bijou among the winners!

We’re so proud to be honored amongst our esteemed industry peers in this most prestigious competition.

The air at The Creamery is electric today, because this award recognizes the tireless efforts of our entire team as we continue to innovate, grow our business and perfect our craft. We all know that it takes a village.

We are honored to have our Bijou among the winners this year and want to give a shout out to a few of our fellow Vermont sofi winners & finalists; Lake Champlain Chocolates recognized for their Milk Chocolate Apple Cider Caramels, Big Picture Farms, for their Chocolate Covered Farmstead Caramels and Sea Salt & Vanilla Farmstead Goat Milk Caramels; Jan's Farmhouse Crisps for their Cranberry Pistachio Crisps; Cabot Creamery Cooperative a finalist for their creme fraiche; Fat Toad Farm, for their Vermont Maple Goat's Milk Caramel; The Potlicker LLC for their Carrot Cake Jam; Blake Hill Preserves for their Meyer Lemon Marmalade; and Wozz! Kitchen Creations who earned a sofi for their North African Chermoula Dressing. Congrats to all! And, since we’ve heard there are some pretty awesome foods made outside of Vermont too, here’s the full list of sofi winners for 2016.

Congratulations to all!
