Every Thanksgiving, I gather with my immediate family, siblings and their families.  We often host friends’ from around the world who are living in the US away from their families – like our French intern, Alice, who will be experiencing her first Thanksgiving in the United States.  This year we will be gathered 40 strong and so thankful that we are together and that our family is safe in an uncertain world.

My “first world problem” of getting the pies in the oven are a reminder of how blessed I am to have love and life in Vermont - a place where we only sometimes lock our cars and our kids still walk to school.  I am blessed by a wonderful community - of dedicated friends and creative employees - that enriches my life as a mother, spouse, and entrepreneur.

I hope that wherever you find yourself this Thanksgiving, that you, too, find yourself gathered in community, sharing generously and often.
