Behind our delightfully rich cultured butter is a super talented team led by Aaron Tucker. Over the course of his nine years at Vermont Creamery, Aaron has honed his craft and is now a member of the Creamery's leadership team. We caught up with Aaron to ask him a few questions about his labor of love.  

What’s the first thing you do when you get to work every morning?

The first thing I do is gather all the employees and have a huddle. We prep everyone on the agenda for the day and I give props to the employees for all the hard work they do.

How do you describe Vermont Creamery to people that have never heard of us?

The first thing I say is this… By far this company is run by the most caring and upbeat people I have ever known. We make some of the best cheeses and butter you have ever tasted; if you don't believe me, try them and you will see! Vermont Creamery is a company that truly cares about its employees and making a difference everyday!

My favorite Vermont Creamery product is...

My favorite creamery product is maple and sea salt butter, although I like the Vanilla Crème Fraiche as well, it's a toss up between the two.

What are you doing when you’re not here?

When I'm not at work I really enjoy being outside, I hike almost every chance I get. I also raise pigs and chickens; this year, I have 50 chickens and I'm raising 6 pigs. Eventually my hope is to buy 25 acres of land and build a pole barn to raise my animals; my barn will be powered by 100 percent renewable energy!
