Alice Brault is our very own French expat at Vermont Creamery working as our Research & Development and Cheese Quality Specialist! With a degree in food engineering, she’s in the trenches with our cheese makers every day, charged with maintaining Vermont Creamery’s high standards for cheese quality. We caught up with Alice to chat about her labor of love.
How long have you worked here?
Nine months already! And two years ago, I did a two-month internship at Vermont Creamery.
My favorite Vermont Creamery product is…
Vanilla crème fraiche and St. Albans (coming in October 2016)!
What’s on your bucket list?
My plan was to live in America and make great cheeses! Now I want to travel in the US as much as I can.
What’s the first thing you do when you get to work every morning?
I meet with the operations team and go look at the cheeses!
How do you describe Vermont Creamery to people that have never heard of us?
It is an amazing team; people care about cheese and care about each other. Vermont Creamery is my new family!
What are you doing when you’re not here?
I enjoy Vermont landscapes and the easy Vermont life.
