At Vermont Creamery, all roads lead to Don Larose. As our Creamery Manager, Don oversees the day-to-day operations at our production facility, leads our team of cheesemakers and oversees everything from the budget to the butter churn.

How long have you worked here?

Nineteen years

My favorite Vermont Creamery product is…

Lightly salted butter!

What’s on your Creamery to-do list?

My list includes: day to day operations, filling all of the orders with our high-quality products and getting all of our many projects of the ground and running.

What’s the first thing you do when you get to work every morning?

I look at all of the orders we’ve received and need to fill and check the product inventory.

How do you describe Vermont Creamery to people that have never heard of us?

I tell them that we make delicious specialty cheeses and butter and that it’s a great place to work.

What are you doing when you’re not here?

When I’m not at the Creamery, I do some gardening, I ride my Harley and spend time with family. I also like to spend a lot of time outdoors doing projects around the house.
