What happened when we pitted our Fresh Crottin against a host of fierce competition at this year’s World Championship Cheese Contest? We won top honors! Vermont Creamery was named “Best of Class” in the fresh goat’s cheese category!

Held annually in our nation’s unofficial cheese capital, Madison, Wisconsin, the World Championship Cheese Contest is the world’s largest technical cheese, butter and yogurt competition.

A team of expert judges gave top honors to Vermont Creamery’s Fresh Crottin goat cheese with a score of 99.55.

This year, the World Championship Cheese Contest garnered a record-breaking 2,948 submissions.

This marks the third World Championship Cheese Contest award won by the Vermont Creamery since 2012.

Here’s what our fearless co-owner and co-founder, Allison Hooper had to say about Vermont Creamery’s big win.
“Fresh goat cheese is the foundation of our business; this recognition is a tremendous testament to our entire team’s commitment to excellence as we continue to innovate and grow.”

We even had the news crew from local 44/22 (Fox & ABC) visit The Creamery to interview company president and legit dairy scientist Adeline Druart following our victory. Click here to check out the video.
