1 pound cherries, pitted

1 cup milk

Vermont Creamery Crème Fraîche
¼ cup

¼ cup sugar

2 teaspoons kirsch, if desired

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

6 eggs

¾ cup all-purpose flour

Directions
- Heat oven to 425º
- Butter and flour baking dish. Scatter half of cherries into dish
- Whisk together milk and crème fraîche, with sugar, eggs, kirsch, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Whisk in flour; pour into blender; blend until no lumps remain
- Pour batter into prepared dish. Distribute remaining cherries evenly across surface. Bake 30-32 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean and clafoutis is golden brown and puffed up. Dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
