Herbed Crème Fraîche Salad Dressing

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, crushed or minced

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • Vermont Creamery Crème Fraîche

    ¼ cup

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • ½ teaspoon thyme, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon chives


  1. In a medium bowl or measuring cup add crushed garlic and olive oil, stir well to flavor the olive oil in the garlic. To this add the vinegar, maple syrup, crème fraiche, mustard, salt & pepper. Stir well until the ingredients are fully incorporated. Add the freshly chopped herbs and stir to combine.
  1. Toss the dressing with your preferred salad vegetables. We used a combination of lettuces, carrot, sugar snap and snow peas, homemade croutons, toasted sunflower seeds, and a few edible flowers for delicious fun.
