Buttered Espresso Martini

  • Butter Syrup

  • ⅔ cup brown sugar

  • Vermont Creamery Unsalted Cultured Butter

    ½ cup

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • pinch of salt

  • espresso martini

  • 1 ounces vodka

  • ½ ounce coffee liqueur

  • ½ ounce butter syrup

  • 1 shot espresso


  1. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, add sugar, butter, cinnamon, and salt. Stir constantly until the sugar is dissolved, about 7-8 minutes and remove from heat to cool. Save butter syrup in a microwave safe container.
  2. To build each martini, add vodka, coffee liqueur, butter syrup, and espresso to a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
  3. Strain the drink into a martini glass and serve.
