    8 ounces room temperature

  • ¼ cup golden raisins, finely chopped

  • assorted crackers or pita chips for serving

  1. In a large bowl combine the room temperature fresh goat cheese, orange zest, and salt and mix well. Once the orange zest and salt has been combined into the cheese, start to gently pack the cheese into a ball, set aside
  2. On a large plate mix the chopped rosemary, golden raisins, and cranberries and stir to combine evenly.,Gently roll the cheese ball into the chopped fruit and herbs, pressing the fruit and herbs lightly into the ball to form an even layer around the outside. Place on a platter alongside some crackers or pita chips and serve immediately

recipe notes:

If you want to make this in advance, wrap the cheeseball fully in plastic once it's been coated in fruit & herbs and store in the refrigerator. Let it come to room temperature before serving for a spreadable consistency.
