Baked St. Albans

Think outside the crock. Pile a spoonful of jam and a sheet of puff pastry atop St. Albans, and bake for a fresh take on the traditional cheeseboard.

Ingredients

1 Vermont Creamery St. Albans

1 tablespoon raspberry jam  

1 (sheet) frozen puff pastry, thawed

Sliced baguette

 *Substitute your favorite flavor jam.

Directions

  • STEP 1

    Heat oven to 350°F. 

  • STEP 2

    Remove cover from crock. Spoon jam over top of St. Albans.

  • STEP 3

    Cut square from thawed puff pastry slightly larger than crock.  Wet underside edges of pastry with a little water.  Gently lay puff pastry over cheese, pressing down on edges to seal in jam.  

  • STEP 4

    Place crock onto baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes or until pastry is lightly browned and crisp.  

  • STEP 5

    Serve immediately with baguette slices.
