The classic chocolate chip cookie you know and love.  We love it for it's slightly soft interior and crisp outer edges.

2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) Vermont Creamery Sea Salt Cultured Butter - 82% Butterfat softened

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

3/4 cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups (72% cacao) dark chocolate chips

Fleur de Sel

  • STEP 1

Heat oven to 350°F. Line 3 baking sheets with parchment paper; set aside.

  • STEP 2

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in bowl. Set aside.

  • STEP 3

Place butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in bowl of stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment.  Beat on high speed for 4 minutes, scraping sides occasionally, until mixture is light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour mixture gradually, beating at low speed just until combined. Add chocolate chips; beat on low until well distributed.

  • STEP 4

Scoop slightly underfilled 1/4 cupfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 15-17 minutes or until edges are deep golden brown.
